Boat trips and snorkeling
Full-day boat trips go to Ras Mohammed National Park with White Island, or north to the reefs around Tiran Island. Lunch is served on board and introductory dives can be added. To try scuba diving properly, the Diving at Tiran Island trip includes two introductory dives with an instructor for €40.
Semi-submarine
To see the reef without getting wet, the Sea Scope semi-submarine spends 60 minutes about 4 metres below the surface, with large windows onto the coral and fish, and 30 minutes on its upper deck. It suits all ages and non-swimmers, from €30 with hotel pickup.
Parasailing
A speedboat pulls you up under a large parachute for about 10 minutes in the air, alone or with a friend beside you, with wide views over the coast. It suits most ages, including children.
Swimming with dolphins
At Dolphina Park a professional trainer guides a 15- or 30-minute swim with the dolphins, followed by a video of your session. Life jackets are provided.
If you'd rather watch than swim, the 60-minute dolphin show at the same park takes about two hours with hotel pickup, from €20.
