Try scuba diving straight from the beach at El Fanar, one of Sharm El Sheikh's best-known coral reefs. It's the quickest way to dive for the first time: no boat, no long day out, and no licence or experience needed.
We pick you up from your hotel at the time that suits you, between 10:00 and 14:00. At the beach, your professional instructor explains the basics: how the equipment works, how to breathe underwater and the main hand signals. After fitting your gear, you walk in from the shore and dive for about 10–15 minutes at a depth of 6–8 metres, over coral and colourful Red Sea fish, with your instructor beside you all the way.
The whole trip takes about 2–3 hours, so it fits easily into a beach day. Hotel transfers in an air-conditioned vehicle, entrance to El Fanar Beach, all diving equipment and the instructor are included for €22 per person.
