What is Soho Square?
Soho Square is a pedestrian square with restaurants, cafés and shops around it, and a popular evening meeting place for visitors to Sharm El Sheikh. It sits at White Knight Beach in the Sharks Bay area, close to several big resorts.
There is no single thing you must see. People come to walk around, eat, watch the fountain, have a dessert or a coffee, and let the children play. It's busiest in the evening, when the square is lit up.
What you can do there
What is open, and when, can change with the season, so ask us before you go if one thing matters a lot to you, such as the ice rink.
- Watch the big dancing fountain when its music and light shows are on.
- Go bowling or ice skating: yes, an ice rink in the desert.
- Have dinner: there are restaurants with food from many countries, plus cafés for coffee, juice and desserts.
- Shop for clothes, souvenirs, jewellery and beachwear.
- Take photos of the lights and the square at night.
How an evening can look
You pay for your own food, drinks and activities at the square. We arrange the transport so you don't have to look for a taxi late at night. Tell us what time you'd like to leave and come back, and we'll send you the price.
- Pickup from your hotel in the early evening.
- Free time at Soho Square: walk, eat, shop and watch the fountain.
- Transfer back to your hotel at the time you agreed with us.
Tips for your evening
- Bring a light jacket in winter: evenings by the sea can be cool from December to February.
- Carry some Egyptian pounds or a card for food and shopping.
- If you have children, the bowling alley and ice rink are the big hits; the fountain shows are free to watch.
Make it a bigger night out
You can combine Soho Square with a visit to the Old Market and Al Sahaba Mosque on another evening, or spend a night in the desert on the Super Safari or the Super Sand Buggy Safari, both with dinner and a show.
